Nick Shrugue thoroughly enjoys meeting strangers, would love to have coffee with fictional logo legend Juan Valdez, and has yet to experience a solid pick-up line. In the meantime, he works his magic behind the bar at Gracie's downtown.

PM: When do you work at Gracie's?
NS: Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
PM: Do you have a signature drink?
NS: I'm loving the cucumber martini made with Hendricks's Gin.
PM: What's the most interesting thing that's ever happened to you while working at Gracie's?
NS: Hosting the James Beard Award Dinner.
PM: Any bizarre obsession?
NS: Not sure if it's bizarre, but I'm a very proud Pug parent.
PM: What's your favorite summertime activity?
NS: Hot Club around 5pm.
PM: Do you have any harbored talents that you want to share with the world?
NS: I can make sea salts.
PM: Why should people come see you at Gracie's?
NS: We offer complimentary wine and cheese tastings on Thursday evenings, and I enjoy speaking about the different vineyards and pairings. The samplings change weekly and are accompanied by live jazz music.
