WHO YOU'LL MEET: Sailors with skill levels ranging from basic sailing though advanced racing, and possibly a pirate willing to show you around below deck. The crisp sea air is sure to put the wind back in your sail!

WHAT YOU'LL DO: All classes are taught on the water, so after passing a swim test, it's smooth sailing. You'll learn the fundamentals, including how to retrieve a person overboard. By the end of the course, you should feel confident sailing a small boat, but if by then you still don't know your stern from your bow, at least you'll know others who do.

WHAT TO WEAR: Your hottest personal flotation device (lifejacket), with a whistle on a lanyard attached.

WHEN TO GO: Classes take place May though October, day or evening, on weekdays and Saturdays.
