Fall means great dessert, period. Pies, crisps, crumbles, muffins, and cookies take on a seasonal twist with warm, autumnal flavors: pumpkin, cinnamon, apple, and walnut. If you’re looking for the perfect place to satiate that characteristically fall craving, pop into one – or more! – of these bakeries for a breakfast or after-dinner snack.

If you ask for a great pie, chances are you’ll be recommended Zaccagnini’s Pastry Shoppe, which boasts a traditional menu of cakes, pies, and pastries, with a surprise addition of Portuguese desserts.
