Acclaimed pianist and soprano to perform at Wingate Residences on the East Side

Accomplished soprano Erika Wueschner and pianist Richard Dowling, both from the prestigious Piatigorsky Foundation, will perform at Wingate Residences on the East Side on Friday, March 22 at 2 p.m. Wueschner has performed at many well-known venues, including Carnegie Hall, Sibelius Hall in Helsinki and Théâtre des Champs Élysées. She is a recent recipient of the coveted Nilsson Prize of Maestro Domingo’s Operalia Competition. Dowling has been hailed by The New York Times as “an especially impressive fine pianist.” He appears regularly across the United States in solo recitals, at chamber music and jazz/ragtime festivals, and as a guest soloist in concerto performances with orchestras. Career highlights include a sold-out New York orchestral debut at Lincoln Center, a solo recital at Carnegie Hall in New York, and a special award from the National Federation of Music Clubs recognizing his outstanding performances of American music.
