This 6-week session for ages 10-16 led by instructor Jerry Shippee is centered around the "commercial arts" and will focus on art forms that are vocational. Students will be exposed to vocational arts in but not limited to magazine illustration, comic strips and books, video game character design, basic animator, and tee shirt design. Students will be given lessons and shown techniques in drawing, pen and ink, watercolor, and mixed media arts in an open curriculum where they can pick the area in which they would like to learn/improve/focus.
