Crash Line productions is back and ready to host another weekend of audible awesomeness for the music-loving masses. This spring, Boston Calling, a three-day-long bi-annual music festival, is estimated to attract over 45,000 fans from across the East Coast. Grammy award winner Beck, alternative rock band The Pixies and ATO Records’ My Morning Jacket, will headline this 23-act event scheduled for May 22-24.

Beck’s Morning Phase, a recent collection that triumphed both Beyoncé and Sam Smith for the 2015 album of the year, marks the first of many acts not to be missed this weekend. “Stay High” with Tove Lo, be St. Vincent’s “Digital Witness,” or dance like a “Happy Idiot” to TV on the Radio’s incandescent fusion of alternative, world and electronic influences. Regardless of your preference and your budget, there’s something for everyone at this one, two, or three-day performance party, ranging from $50 to $350.

Situated at City Hall Plaza, Boston Calling’s locale offers an ideal urban vibe with enhancements from two performance stages, lawn games, and world-class lighting and design. An even elevated experience grants VIP members access to City Hall Courtyard, a 25,000 square foot, second-floor Mezzanine that offers ideal views of both stages and specially curated menus and amenities.

A true celebration of talent, Boston Calling welcomes the return of Blank Canvas, a promotional contest that gives artists across the country an opportunity to showcase original murals. Five talented winners will receive $750 in cash and four 3-day VIP festival passes. In addition, all five canvases will be hung by Crash Line productions in highly visible areas, in frames as large as eight by six feet.

Fear not an empty wallet. Multiple ATMs will be located around festival grounds to ensure your enjoyment of fares from Tasty Burger and Chipotle, and enough Sam Adams for the entire state of Massachusetts. Drink options are limitless, but stay hydrated beforehand as crowd surfing is only cool when you’re conscious. Walk, bike, or MBTA you way to City Hall Plaza for this spring’s not-to-be-missed celebration.
