You’d better come hungry to Clean Plate, because you’re not going to want to leave a bite behind. The restaurant, on the waterfront in Providence, serves creative twists on comfort food that will have you thinking about your meal long after it’s over.

Co-owners Lauren and Susan have owned four restaurants together over the past 20 years, so it’s safe to say they know good food. Their breakfast and brunch menus are decadent and so enticing that it will be hard to narrow down your choice - think Chicken and Waffles, Breakfast Pizza and Bacon Waffles (Bacon or Bacon and Banana, with or without eggs on top). For lunch and dinner, there’s a worldly approach to the cuisine, with hints of Korean and Middle Eastern foods and classic Jewish deli.

Clean Plate is a great choice for private events, whether they’re at the restaurant or at your own venue. They cater platters to-go, of deli meats or prepared sandwiches, as well as salads, boxed lunches, hot entrees and desserts. Try Clean Plate for yourself - it definitely lives up to its name.

Must Try Dish: Their signiature burger - a succulent blend of short rib, brisket, and chuck with Fontina and onion strings
