Dinner By Dames Is a Culinary Experience with a Feminine Twist

Five of Rhode Island's most talented female chefs collaborate on a dinner to remember

Posted

Five of Rhode Island's most gifted female chefs are collaborating on a multi-course dinner that will bring together a variety of styles to create a night of culinary enchantment. Chefs Jordan Goldsmith of Garden Grille, Maria Meza of El Rancho Grande, Kaitlyn Roberts of East Entertaining, Jessica Wood of Fire and Water Restaurant Group, and Pastry Chef Melissa Denmark of Gracie's and Ellie's Bakery will create signature dishes and desserts for guests to enjoy after a 6pm reception including welcome bites by each chef. The dinner will be hosted at The Café at Easy Entertaining in Providence on March 5, and the menu features delicious courses like pappardelle with confit wild mushrooms, Nantucket Bay scallops, and milk chocolate and grapefruit crémeux.

This is the first time these chefs have had a chance to collaborate, and they are all excited for the magic that this opportunity creates. Meza says, “I’m excited to work with these great women chefs and prepare plates different from the cuisine I usually create.” Denmark adds, “This is an exciting way for some of the talented Rhode Island female chefs to show off all of the great food we create.”

The dinner costs $85 per person (including tax and gratuity), and there will be an optional wine pairing by Jessica Granatiero of The Savory Grape Wine Shop in East Greenwich, as well as an a la carte wine menu.

Tickets are available now at eatdrinkri.com/dames. The Café at Easy Entertaining: 166 Valley Street, Providence.
