Get a Taste of the City’s Newest Ice Cream Truck

Next time you see a man on a tricycle, hauling a truck behind him, stop him. The Tricycle Ice Cream Cart is the city’s newest artisan ice cream venture. These aren’t your typical ice cream sandwiches. Tricycle crafts flavors aimed at the discerning foodie. Past offerings have included Madagascar vanilla, New Harvest espresso, salty pretzel and even cereal milk (on a cornflake shortbread, of course).

Tricycle utilizes organic milk and cream for their frosty treats, as well as ingredients from local farms. The creamy concoction is then housed by two shortbread cookies.

The trike makes its rounds through Providence and appears at Armory Park and the Providence Farmers Market regularly. To locate the cart full of deliciousness, check out Tricycle’s Twitter. They’re also available for catering, meaning you can host one last hurrah – with ice cream! – before autumn’s chilly winds blanket the land.
