Now - June 9: See the Ocean State Improv Festival take the stage at the Contemporary Theatre in Wakefield, with actors from across the globe for a show of hilarious improvised comedy with on-the-spot topics ranging from comic book stories to Shakespeare. 

June 7-10: Celebrate the arts at the 4th annual PVDFest in Downtown Providence, and watch as the city’s renowned artists, culinary and culture communities join forces to deliver four days of music, dance, food, art, and fun!

June 8: Rock out to the Prince Tribute band Dean Ford and the Beautiful Ones as they embody Mr. Purple Rain himself, performing his greatest hits at Courthouse Center for the Arts in West Kingston.

June 8: Head on down to Newport for a fun night of baseball as the Newport Gulls take on the North Adams SteepleCats, at Cardine's Field. 

June 9: Check out the Field of Artisans pop-up market and enjoy the handmade work of local artists and artisans, photographers, designers and a variety of vendors, at Marina Park in Wakefield.

June 9: Enjoy a beautiful garden tour of the Green Animals Topiary Garden in Portsmouth for “Fantastic Creations;” the eye-catching topiary, formal parterres, flowers, fruits and vegetables creating a truly fantastic garden design.

June 9: Don your kilt for the Rhode Island Scottish Highland Festival in Richmond and enjoy a celebration of all things traditionally Scottish, including kilt contests, throwing competitions with incredibly heavy objects (like trees and hammers), Scottish music, and dance.

June 9-10: The Rhode Island Air Show returns for another weekend of high flying areobatics from ace pilots, performances from the US Navy's Blue Angels, and vintage fighter planes. 

June 10: Savor the delicious combination of bacon and beer as the Bacon and Beer Fest returns to the Steel Yard in Providence, with more than 25 restaurants pairing their favorite, most bacon-y dishes with the perfect suds.

June 10: See WaterFire light up the night for the Basin Lighting, with the Waterplace Park Basin completely aglow as well as the braziers leading up to the Providence Place Mall.

June 10: Head on down to the Providence Flea for an award-winning vintage and artisan and maker market featuring 60+ local vendors, live music, food trucks, and more.
