More about the Featured Artists for April:
Diana Cole - stained glass
Stained Glass is an ancient magical craft yet there are today many new ways
to work color, shape, density and texture to excite the contemporary eye. Influenced by my
experience as a singer I seek rhythmic energy in my designs and work with color as one would
consonance and dissonance. Each color has a personal symbolism for me and the interaction of
colors, a narrative. The ever shifting light enlivens the art work in new ways.
Tracey Tisler - jeweler
Tracey Tisler has always loved nature and is particularly drawn to the water. It
can be powerful, yet serene, ethereal and ever changing. For Tracey, the process of creating
jewelry is much the same. At times she is drawn to her torch and enjoys fusing and fabricating
sterling silver pieces, often melting silver scraps into unusual shapes and forms. Other days she

bench. To that end, her body of work is an eclectic mix, some bold, some dainty, all sure to be
treasured for years to come.
Nicole St. Pierre- felted hats and accessories
Nicole St-Pierre is a studio artist, who creates hand knitted and felted hats, embellishing them with needle-felting details or hand knitted and felted elements. Nature and architecture are her primary sources of inspiration. With colorful yarns, she likes to design patterns, coordinating colors and textures to create abstract or representational images of flowers, leaves, trees, bugs, aerial views of fields, the moon, sunsets, etc. Her works are visual
