Nothing yells “Summer!” quite like Downcity’s outdoor movie series, Movies on the Block. As always, the line up is an eclectic sampling of the great wide world of cinema. This year runs the gamut of mainstream family fare (Roger Rabbit, The Muppet Movie), cult classics (Breakin’) concert docs (The Last Waltz), bold directorial debuts (Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, Jaws, Badlands) and a season finale creature double feature (Frankenstein and Dracula).
