People's Power & Light is partnering with SustainPVD to celebrate National Drive Electric Week (NDEW)... and what better way to celebrate NDEW than with a fun, family-friendly picnic and the opportunity to test drive electric cars around the beautiful Roger Williams Park?
We will have several different electric cars to test drive around Roger Williams Park, including the Prius Prime, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, Volkswagen e-Golf, and Nissan Leaf.
People’s Power & Light is also excited to announce our new name at the event, which will unite us with our sister organization, Mass Energy. Our new name will reflect our commitment to empowering everyday people to make green energy choices in the most cost-effective, practical and seamless ways possible, and to advocate for energy policies that benefit the greater good.
This community event is family-friendly and will include food and live music. It is free and open to the public. Please RSVP.
