Ok, so tell us about what makes you eligible. What are your interests/hobbies/quirks? What would people be surprised to know about you?

What makes me eligible? I've worked all the kinks out :) I'm at a point in my life where I've grown to be a woman that I'm extremely proud of. I graduated from Providence College in 2003 and received my MBA from Johnson & Wales in 2005. I own my own home in Lincoln that I share with my pug, Muddie. I've pushed myself to take on new experiences and challenges in life and in relationships and plan to continue to do so. I'm extremely loyal to all of the important people in my life. I've got a drive and fire in me that can't compare. I always maintain a positive attitude and outlook. I love with my whole heart. Despite my tendency to be fancy at times, I'm very much a down to earth girl with a lot of heart and soul.

My interests include travel, crossfit/olympic lifting, watching New Girl, dining or having cocktails out and about, and a good boozy brunch
Hobbies: I spend my free time as a spinning instructor, I love hosting parties and cooking for my friends. I love planning road trips or any new travel adventure.
Quirks: I use a yellow umbrella as a tribute to the tv show How I Met Your Mother. I snort when I laugh - but when I do you will know it's really funny.

What are you looking for in an ideal mate? What about an ideal first date?
I am looking for someone who loves life just as much as I do and wants to squeeze everything out of it. They must be driven. Kind. Someone who challenges me. Confident. Someone who can appreciate a good meme. An ideal first date if we've never met is honestly - short. I think meeting for coffee, a drink, etc. is a good start. Something easy that gives us the chance to see if there is a connection, even if it's on the friendship level. Beyond that, I think an ideal first date is not so much someone trying to impress me, but one that shows me something about him whether it's his favorite place to eat or something that lets me learn something about him.

What's your perfect weekend? Where can we find you in your downtime?
My perfect weekend involves a little bit of everything. Going out for dinner or drinks with friends, getting some R&R in, playing with my pug Mud & getting my workout on. I do love road trips to NYC or Boston - I love getting out of town for the weekend. Where can you find me in my downtime? Where can you not find me? I have the tendency to be bouncing around to lots of different things - I don't like to waste a minute. But Circe is probably a good start.

Let's talk about dating in Providence. What's your take on the singles scene here?
Dating in Providence is tough. I've been living here for almost 12 years and everyone's connected. It's like six degrees to Kevin Bacon. But with every person in the city.

Every single one of your married friends has probably recommended online dating. Have you tried it? How do you feel about matchmaking sites? Tinder?
I think I pioneered the online dating movement back in the early 2000's when I shouldn't have even been worried about meeting someone. I actually don't think there was texting yet. I remember making the arrangements to meet up with someone for the first time. My friends and family thought I was setting myself up to be kidnapped and killed. I haven't been on it much in the last 4-5 years because I was involved in relationships. I have a Tinder profile now, but it's discouraging to go on it. I think it's an opportunity to always be looking for something better. I think we all need to stop looking and see what the universe has planned.

Do you have any really funny dating stories?
I feel like all of my dating adventures really happened more in my twenties. I've gotten a little more cautious as I've gotten older. All I know is that the guys who showed up in a wig at my front door, mauled me in the parking lot, used the adjective of hornball multiple times when talking about family, or referred to us as married on our first date are now in the dating archives. :)
