The Providence Flea Returns

After three years it's safe to start calling The Flea a tradition

Posted

Rhode Island’s treasured outdoor market is back and your summer can truly begin. The Providence Flea kicks off their weekly flea market Sunday June 7 on the beautiful Providence River Greenway, an exemplification Providence’s community of artists, foodies and more right downtown. The market is held rain or shine, though we’re hoping for shine, and will continue all summer long - every Sunday through September 13.

Come for the food trucks, vintage shopping or just to listen to local musicians and join the vibrant city of Providence as it welcomes this tradition for its third year. Inspired by popular flea markets in Brooklyn, New York, The Providence Flea features all types of recycled and reused items, vintage jewelry and furniture, musical instruments you can’t even imagine and even art made from science lab beakers. And don’t forget to grab a popsicle or an artisan grilled cheese from one of the specialty food trucks while you explore. The Providence Flea has become a Rhode Island tradition and this year is sure to be funkier than ever. Free. June 7. 10am-4pm. 345 South Water Street, Providence. More info...
