Running now-February 10: The Night Watch, an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Sarah Waters, makes its US premiere at the Gamm Theatre. Set in 1940's London, the play details the stories and secrets of three women and a young man, unfolding backwards to the Blitz.
Running now-February 13: Yawgoo Valley teaches kids and adults skiing and snowboarding with their Ski & Ride Lesson Program, a six-week program that meets once per week. By week six, you’ll feel like a pro on the slopes.
February 1: IBEX Puppetry’s Ajijaak on Turtle Island Launches FirstWorks 2019 Frontier Series at the Moses Brown School Woodman Center, with an eco-focused story and environmental spectacle co-directed by Heather Henson, daughter of Muppets legend Jim Henson, and Grammy Award winner Ty Defoe, featuring visually stunning puppetry and indigenous songs and dances.
February 2: Learn how to make authentic, from-scratch tortillas with KRAEV’s Chef Rene Sanchez at Hope & Main in his The Art of the Roll instructional workshop.
Febraury 2: Get ready to rock out to Best Friend’s Girl, The Cars Experience, at Kingston’s Courthouse Center for the Arts as they fabulously recreate the timeless hits of The Cars with notable hits like “Shake It Up,” “Magic,” “Let’s Go,” and of course, “Best Friend’s Girl.”
February 2: Livingston Taylor with special guest Seth Glier performs at the Greenwich Odeum. The long-time musician is known for his hits “I’ll Come Running” and “Boatman” and excels in genres from folk and pop to gospel and jazz.
