What better way to toast to the season than by indulging in a refreshingly frosty concoction infused with fresh fruit harvests of Rhode Island? These locally inspired blends promise to transport your taste buds on a delightful journey, offering a refreshing start to your summer adventures.
Newport Blueberry Bliss
Packed with antioxidants, the Newport Blueberry Bliss is a delightful way to start your day or enjoy as a mid-afternoon treat.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- A handful of spinach (optional for an extra health boost)
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk until desired consistency is reached.
