Classes and workshops are sponsored by the Julie Adams Strandberg Fund for Dance @ Brown and are free and open to the public. The classes and workshops draw from classical and contemporary modern traditions; jazz; tap; West African dance; improvisation; and Hip-Hop. All levels welcome unless otherwise stated.

October 6th - Deb Meunier - a blend of styles with a variety of modern techniques that also draw from classical traditions and jazz

October 13th -- Belle Abuyo - Breaking: Hip Hop Fundamentals - (4:30-6)

October 20th - Improvisation with Shura Baryshnikov and setGO ensemble

October 27th - Seydou Coulibaly and Moussa Traore - West African Dance and Music

November 3rd - Jessica Pearson - tenets of the dance techniques of Lester Horton, Jose Limon, and Katherine Dunham

November 10th - Ephrat Esherie - Hip Hop/House

November 11 - Ephrat Esherie - Hip Hop/House - (SATURDAY) 12:00-2:00

December 1st - Ali Kenner - a range of approaches, including Safety Release Technique and Laban/Bartenieff principles

December 2nd - Bill Evans Tap - excerpts from Evans’ original blues tap repertory. For dancers at the intermediate and advanced levels - (SATURDAY) 12:00-2:00
