Classical concert with violinist Linda Rosenthal and pianist Maxim Pakhomov at Wingate Residences on the East Side

The Piatigorsky Foundation will present a classical music concert at Wingate Residences on the East Side, featuring violinist Linda Rosenthal and pianist Maxim Pakhomov, on Friday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. Alaskan-based Rosenthal is the founder and director of the Juneau Jazz & Classics and the Lake Placid Chamber Music Seminar. She’s commissioned more than a dozen works, has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia, and tours with the children’s music show “Strings & Stories.” Russian-born Pakhomov studied at the Moscow State Conservatory, is the principal pianist for the Bronx Opera Company and teaches at the Chamber Music Institute in Orono, Maine. The Piatigorsky Foundation is dedicated to making live classical music an integral part of everyday life for communities throughout the United States.
