Brown Stays Haute Even in the Cold

As we finally shed the cozy layers of winter, it’s time for a fresh look on fashion. Save the date to see a kaleidoscope of color strolling down the catwalk at the fourth annual Brown Fashion Week.

Fashion @ Brown is a student-run organization comprising 11 designers and a handful of photographers, stylists and other students looking to gain exposure in the business of fashion. The six events held during the week are ideal for those interested in the industry as well as for trendsetters seeking some new threads.

The runway show has a variety of inventive outfits that revamp vintage styles with an unflinching, edgy flair. Think delicate white lace and Doc Martens; or perhaps psychedelic splatters against the timeless white tee.

The industry panel will be presenting both speakers and documentaries, and for those simply seeking a fresh look, check out the exclusive Madewell sale and the Urban Vintage Bazaar later in the week. And of course, don’t miss out on the after party. April 21-25.
