Susanne Smith, of Barrington, designed the concept of the path for her thesis at RISD. Originally, Smith wanted to convert the old Bristol and Warren railroad into a bike path to grant access to otherwise inaccessible views of the East Coast.

The fruity cow is a popular respite as riders pass through Warren. They carry ice cream and smoothies but are renowned by residents for their home made popsicles. Take a break on their outdoor seating, or roll by the drive-up window.

Across the street is Del's. If ice-cream or smoothies are too heavy for your ride, grab a refreshing lemonade, or a hotdog if you're hungry.
