StyleWeek Fashion Report

Our favorite looks from Season 11

Attending fashion shows is hard work, but someone has to do it. Our Creative Director Julie Tremaine was front row every night at StyleWeek, and picked her favorite look from each night.

Day 1: Samuel Vartan

Opening night had strong showings from Antwan Byrd for DeBricchio, with flirty sportswear, and Chaz Aracil's innovative wearable art. The floral detail on this stunning white dress by Samuel Vartan was a standout.

Day 2: Mode Merr

Mode Merr showed retro-fabulous fashions on models of all sizes and shapes. This dramatic gown turned heads down the runway. Clothes Horse Clothing and Evolue Apparel by Susan Zemaitis also showed that evening.

Day 3: Earl Battle

Instilla by Valentina Oppezzo and Jeffrey Dickerson opened the evening with fun, kitschy sequins and lacy formalwear, respectively, and Earl Battle closed the show. His '80s-inspired gown was the perfect blend of edge and femininity.

Day 4: Carissa Lynne Designs

The bright colors of Carissa Lynne Designs were a breath of fresh air. This gorgeous coral and gold gown worked especially well. Chikke by Angelica Timas and Yellow Clover by Sarah Prost also had memorable collections - Chikke with clean, modern lines and Yellow Clover with Sarah Prost's signature ladylike aesthetic.

Day 5: Jess Abernethy

It was almost impossible to choose between Stetkiewicz by Amy Stetkiewicz's lacy creations and Jonathan Joseph Peters' noir-inspired Villainous Vixens, but Jess Abernethy's fun pastels were reminiscent of Versailles, especially these lavender pants with a sheer, beaded top.
