From Baja’s Tex Mex Grill, we tried their Taco Salad. Perfect to take on the go, one of our staff members commented how easy it would be to eat in the car if you were in a hurry. This salad is served in a crispy flour tortilla and is packed with fresh romaine lettuce, black beans, corn salad, jalapeños, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream and mouthwatering smoky, tender carnitas topped with three cheeses and corn salsa. 273 Thayer Street, 383-7079.

“It’s everything I want in a bagel sandwich,” one of our staff members said of Bagel Gourmet Ole’s classic egg and cheese on an everything bagel. The Flatter the Better
Pizza gets an exquisite organic twist at Flatbread Company. We tried their pepperoni mushroom pizza and were smitten. The thin and crispy wood-fired crust was excellent and all the ingredients were totally fresh. Topped with mushrooms, tasty pepperoni, flavorful sauce and a mix of herbs, this pizza was thoroughly light, not greasy. 161 Cushing Street, 273-2737.
