STYLEWEEK Northeast returns to the runway February 21st through 24th at The Rhode Island Convention Center. Tickets go on-sale to the general public on February 1st; industry invitations will drop February 10th. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.STYLEWEEKnortheast.com.
The 14th season of STYLEWEEK Northeast will feature the Autumn/Winter 2018 collections from designers from around the world, including new additions, New York-based Bridgett Artise, Providence-based Jamall Osterholm, Boston’s Tallulah & Poppy, and San Francisco’s Alexander Michael Snyder. International designers include Dominican Republic-based Carols De Moya and London’s Lloyd James Husband.
“We are so excited to announce our line-up for the 14th season,” said Rosanna Ortiz, founder and CEO of STYLEWEEK Northeast. “We are proud to welcome the return of some of our favorite designers as well as an impressive group of new designers from around the country and the world, which demonstrates the need for our platform in the design community. Our guests are sure to be treated to a fabulous fashion experience unlike any other in the Northeast.”
STYLEWEEK Northeast will open on Wednesday, February 21st in a new way: showcasing the creations of three hand-selected Lincoln School students as part of a partnership with STYLEWEEK’s SEEDlings: Innovation Meets Education Student Competition, the organization’s first ever design competition for high school students. The students’ designs will be presented to nine judges from a variety of related fields who will provide their critiques live on the runway, in front of the audience.
“STYLEWEEK Northeast is thrilled to be partnered with Lincoln School as we introduce the first high school participants to partake in our SEEDling Student Design Challenge,” continued Ortiz. “We cannot wait to see the creations of these three students, who represent the future of our industry.”
