On Saturday, April 20, Wonderland Yoga opens its doors in Providence, bringing a fresh approach to a well-known fitness modality. The studio fosters an environment where creativity, playfulness, and community thrive alongside deep yoga practice.

Wonderland Yoga is the brainchild of founders Abbe Ciulla and Alyssa Karam. The studio distinguishes itself by offering not only a wide variety of yoga and movement classes but also dharma lectures, kirtan (a Hindu practice of storytelling), and meditation sessions, catering to diverse needs and preferences. It strives to be a sanctuary where individuals can either find tranquility or connect with others who share similar interests.

"We are excited to open our doors and welcome the Providence community into our mindful movement playground," expresses Ciulla. "Our studio is crafted to encourage exploration, growth, and connection, and is welcoming to individuals from all walks of life and skill levels."

The design and ethos of Wonderland Yoga emphasize stepping out of the conventional yoga practice box. It encourages embracing the unusual and unexplored through joyful and playful experiences. The classes, designed by a talented team of 10 instructors, reflect this philosophy by incorporating their creativity and diverse backgrounds into each session, ensuring a unique and enriching experience for all attendees.
