My typical "good hair day" routine involves a quick blast from my hairdryer paired with fingers crossed for good luck, so when I had the chance to try a blowout at the newly opened Drybar in Providence, I couldn't resist.

From the moment I stepped into Drybar, it felt like a mini-retreat. Jada, my personal stylist, ensured I was comfortable every step of the way. Playing off of the “bar” theme, the experience comes with  a complimentary beverage, with choices ranging from bubbly mimosas and fine wines to coffee and water. With a  mimosa in hand, I flipped through the Look Book to select a hairstyle. Each style was playfully named after a cocktail – I was instantly drawn to the Cosmo-Tai, a combination of beachy waves and soft curls.

Next, Jada led me to a luxurious wash station where she used an array of beautifully scented products. Each one was more captivating than the last, turning a routine shampoo and conditioning into a delightful aromatic journey.

As my hair was transformed, I soaked in the stylish surroundings of Drybar. The minimalist white decor, punctuated with vibrant pops of yellow, created an ambiance that was both energizing and calming. They even had USB outlets at each chair for those who wanted to charge their phones while being pampered.
