Hot off the heels of his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction, NFL legend Adam Vinatieri returns to Rhode Island this summer to host the Fourth Annual Clays 4 Charity Shoot at The Preserve Sporting Club & Residences in Richmond. Scheduled for Friday, August 14, the day-long event invites participants to test their aim, connect with fellow supporters, and raise funds for three mission-based organizations – Tunnel to Towers Foundation, The Geronimo Foundation, and the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation – each dedicated to honoring veterans and first responders, and protecting and advancing the tradition of outdoor sporting.
Set against the backdrop of The Preserve’s sprawling 3,500-acre wilderness, the event attracts outdoor enthusiasts, athletes, and philanthropists alike. The day begins with morning check-in and breakfast at Double Barrel Steak, followed by a safety briefing and two waves of competitive clay shooting on the club’s nationally recognized sporting clays course. Professional trappers and coaches stationed at each shooting area ensure a smooth and inclusive experience for participants of all skill levels. The excitement continues off the range with fly fishing, paintball, and time at the indoor range.
Alongside the competition, the event includes lawn games, vendor tents, a silent auction, and a welcoming community atmosphere. All activities take place in an immersive outdoor setting that highlights the spirit of connection and giving back.
As the day draws to a close, guests come together for both silent and live auctions, an award-winning dinner proudly featuring food presented by Chef David Burke, as well as live music by Dave Kennedy, Andy Wood, and Tyler Farr.
Clay Shooting spots are sold out but dinner guest tickets are still open, with inclusion in dinner, the live auction, music and entertainment. Register today!
