Airstreams usually suggest campgrounds, but Sézane is bringing French fashion to Fountain Street in one instead. Beginning tomorrow, September 25, the Parisian brand will park its En Route pop-up outside Neptune, an ASH Hotel, for three days, turning the familiar silver trailer into a compact boutique with a distinctly Parisian point of view. The Providence stop runs through September 27 before the tour gets back on the road.
Inside, the classic American road-trip staple gets the full Sézane treatment. Custom wood finishes warm up the space, where shoppers can browse a curated selection from the Fall-Winter ’26 collection alongside pieces created exclusively for individual stops on the tour.
Founder Morgane Sézalory describes the Airstream as another way to “carry a piece of the city we love and bring it closer to you.”
The idea feels particularly fitting for a brand that started with a hunt for something unexpected. Before founding Sézane in 2013, Sézalory scoured French antique markets for vintage finds she could reimagine and sell online. That eye for pieces with a story still shapes the brand, and En Route takes the same spirit of discovery somewhere less permanent than a traditional storefront.
“This project came from a desire to meet our community more intimately,” says Sézalory.
Providence follows the Airstream’s debut at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach and several stops across California. Once its Fountain Street stay wraps, En Route heads south for the Round Top Antique Fair in Texas this October.
Until then, downtown Providence gets three days to see what happens when Parisian fashion packs for an American road trip.
